What our Customer are saying about Stoney Mountain Guns and Ammo
Almost every family has family gun passed down generations. It is a keepsake but needs to be restored to its original glory. Parts may be missing. It may be rusty and the wooden parts deteriorated or missing. The old gun may not even function. You may simply want the old thing professionally cleaned -OR- you may want it put into LIKE NEW shape!
Sent Stoney Mountain an MG34 kit to build up for me and I am very pleased with the result. They were very quick to respond to emails and sent me updates with photos of the progress of the work. Communication was A+ Once I got the gun back, I gave it a look over and was very impressed. I coudn't even tell where the welds on the receiver were done. Took it out for some test firing and again, couldn't be more pleased. The gun shot very well with no issues. I would definitely recommend Stoney Mountain to anyone looking to have an MG34 kit built.
Great selection of guns and ammo! Locally owned. They had hard to find ammo in stock with no limits.
The owner was onsite and answered all my questions and gave tips.
We will definitely be back!
You know I have been going to these people to get my guns repaired for over 2p years and my father went there before me and they have never done anything but great work on our guns and we have a bunch. If your weapon is broken there is no place else to take it that is dependable
Had them repair about 7 different guns. Each with different issues. Badly Damaged stocks, rusted barrel, mechanical, and parts issues. They did a hell of a job on all of them. Thanks for the good work!
Great service, great work. I have dealt with Jack and Brody, and have never remotely experienced anything like the unfavorable reviews, other business or not. These are two stand-up, Customer-oriented, gentlemen. My dealings involve the purchase of a number rifles and shotguns on the internet, perhaps 14 or 15 of them, that I had shipped to Stoney Mountain. Pick up was a breeze, and I got to talking to Jack and asked him if he could perform some deep cleaning and inspections, of rifles as diverse as 1899 Savage's, Mausers, Rugers, Remingtons, Winchesters, Sako, Browning. All flawlessly done. That led me to ask Jack to rechamber sporterized K98 30-06 to .25-06, and to put muzzle breaks on two rifles I run higher velocity/heavy slugs through. I've also had peep sights mounted. All of this was done flawlessly, timely, and with friendly, courteous service. I plan on taking a couple more rifles to him in the next few weeks. This is a legit business that treats its Customers right, and does a damn good job of gunsmithing.
